Tracy Crowther and Kym Morgan have owned Next Generation Day Nursery since May 4th 2004. Tracy has gone on to earn her Forest School Training and gain a BA Hons Degree in Early Childhood Education. Tracy moved back to Leeds where she is from in 2015, where she now works in a behavioural support unit. Tracy is still very involved in nursery and comes in during the school holidays. Kym is a qualified Primary School Teacher with QTS status as well as EYPS Early Years Practitioner Status. In December 2024 Kym was awarded her National Professional Qualification for Early Years Leadership (NPQL). So between them they have a wealth of experience in the Early Years. Kym currently Manages the nursery and teaches pre-school. Kym is a single Mum to 3 children – 1 teenage boy and twin girls currently aged 10.
Our Deputy Manager is Emma, who joined us as a 17-year-old apprentice nursery nurse in November 2011. Emma has her Level 3 Diploma and recently completed a Leadership course. Emma is married with 2 children, a girl and a boy. Emma has lived in one of the adjoining villages her whole life. Tracy and I have been lucky enough to watch Emma grow not only as a practitioner but also as an individual. We attended her wedding and have supported her through her 2 pregnancies and other milestones in her life so far.
Laura joined us in November 2021 originally from Halifax Laura relocated down here to be closer to her now fiance. Laura joined as an apprentice finishing the last few months of her qualification. Laura now has her Level 3 Early Educator qualification as well as her Special Educational Needs Qualification. Laura works in the Baby and Toddler room as a senior and is our SENDCO. Laura is getting married at the end of 2026 so we are all very excited for her and are looking forward to sharing her big day
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner apprentice. Gracie lives locally so knows the area well. She has just completed a year at college doing her Level 2 and is now looking forward to starting her Level 3.
Level 2 Nursery Practitioner. Emma will be working towards her Level 3. She has worked in childcare for over 10 years.
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner. Anna also lives locally. She is newly qualified and has already settled in well to the team.
